President, EPICUREAM
Philippe began his career in a forestry valuation firm before joining Rothschild & Co Gestion as a managing partner, where he spent four decades building expertise in financial product management and distribution. A forest owner himself, he was born and retains deep personal ties to the Tronçais forest, one of France's most celebrated managed oak forests. This combination of financial experience and lifelong connection to the land defines his approach as President of EPICUREAM.
Head of Investment Management
Michel spent the majority of his career as Chief Investment Officer of the Caisse des Dépôts' forestry subsidiary, the leading operator of forest transactions in metropolitan France. He brings an unparalleled depth of market knowledge and a personal network across the French forestry sector that is central to EPICUREAM's sourcing capabilities. A forest owner in the Sologne region, Michel's investment judgement is grounded in both institutional rigour and personal passion for sustainable forest stewardship.
Deputy Chief Executive Officer
Valérie brings extensive experience in financial communications gained within a listed company, complemented by her involvement in building entrepreneurial ventures from the ground up. Her background equips her with a precise understanding of governance requirements for regulated investment structures such as GFIs and portfolio management companies. She is a firm advocate for forest investment as a meaningful way to align financial returns with genuine environmental and social value.
Associate Director
Romain has led significant investment projects across a range of real estate structures, including Monuments Historiques, Malraux, Denormandie, and LMNP schemes, giving him deep expertise in alternative and tax-advantaged asset classes. His experience as a company director and his commitment to rigorous value creation directly inform his role as an associate at EPICUREAM. He is also a private forest owner in the Rhône-Alpes region, reinforcing his personal alignment with the fund's investment philosophy.
Associate Director
A graduate of IHEDREA and IMSI, Grégory has accumulated over twenty years of experience in real estate and land investment through roles at Foncia Groupe, Rothschild & Cie, and Intergestion SGP, before co-founding Vargo. In 2026, he co-leads AMMIX, a firm specialising in real and natural assets, and spearheads EPICUREAM's institutional business development with platforms and large-account investors across France.
